DENTAL CARE ORTHODONTICS

Dr Ambreen Afzal Ehsan, Professor of orthodontics, is an eminent female dentist in Karachi. She is running successful dental practice since last twenty years in Karachi which includes orthodontics, Implant dentistry, laser dentistry, Esthetic Dentistry including clear aligners and Lumineers, general Dentistry and pediatric Dentistry. She is also trained and practices Conscious Sedation with Nitrous oxide for uncooperative children.

Dr Ambreen Afzal Ehsan is specially trained to treat patients with congenital cleft lip and palate and facial deformity. She has collaborated since last 20 years with New York University facial deformity centre for treating new born babies with cleft lip and palate using Nasio-alveolar moulding (NAM). She is also specialized and is trained in treating patients with facial deformities and TMD (TMJ joint disorders).

She graduated in Dentistry from prestigious dental institute of Pakistan as well as postgraduate training from New York University College of Dentistry, National University of Singapore and Royal College of physicians and Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is currently Dean and convener of Orthodontic exams of college of physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. She is a former teaching fellow and instructor at New York University college of Dentistry. Dr Ambreen goes as an examiner for fellowship exams outside Pakistan hence was awarded honorary fellowship of college of physicians and surgeon of Bangladesh (BCPS).

She is also former President of Pakistan Association of Orthodontics and represents Pakistan on different forums. She has more than 70 research articles published in local and international journals. She is an international Speaker and shares her work and experience on different forums. She was honored and inducted into the prestigious American College of Dentistry as their fellow in 2020. In 2022, Royal College of Edinburgh awarded Fellowship in Dentistry as FDS RCS to Prof Ambreen Afzal Ehsan without examination in recognition of her leadership and innovation in the field of dentistry.
